Description:

In this study, we are evaluating the psychometric properties (e.g., reliability, validity) of a questionnaire designed for assessing personality in dogs.  Various aspects of the study involve surveying dog owners online, surveying dog owners in Austin-area dog parks, and administering a related personality and behavioral Test Battery to dogs in Austin-area dog parks.

Qualifications:

Research assistants must have their own transportation or live close to UT, be available during the last week of May and the first 3 weeks of June, and be reliable and motivated.

Duties:

Research assistants will be helping with a variety of tasks, but the majority (~90%) of work hours will be spent doing hands-on research – administering the questionnaire and temperament tests.
