PSY 357 Patterns of Sexual Arousal in Males and Females

Description:
We are conducting several studies that involve investigating: (1) patterns of male and female physiological sexual arousal; (2) sexual enhancer use in undergraduate males; (3) acute effects of nicotine on sexual arousal.
Qualifications:
We are seeking students who have a strong interest in psychology and who may be interested in pursuing a career in graduate school. Although this opportunity is for this summer, preference will be given to research assistants who are able to commit to working at least two semesters following this summer. All research assistants should be comfortable dealing with the sexual nature of the laboratory. Additionally, we ask that applicants have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, have taken Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better, and have completed 30 hours of coursework.
Duties:
Duties will include literature searches, screening participants for studies, subject testing, data entry, database management, data reduction. Research assistants may also have the opportunity to gain experience with data analysis and IRB proposal writing.
