Description:

The pharmacology and the neurochemical, neurophysiological, and psychological effects of psychoactive drugs, particularly drugs of abuse and drugs used to treat psychiatric disorders. 3 semester hours of biology or biopsychology are strongly suggested.

Grading and Requirements:

Exams: 2 or 3 comprised of objective questions (essays possible as well.

Prerequisites:

Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better, Psychology 418 or an equivalent statistics course with a grade of C or better, and upper division standing.
