Description:

Introduction to the area of health psychology including the mind-body problem, emotion and stress, the psychological bases of illness, healing, and aging and death.

Grading and Requirements:

Exams: 3, short answer and essay.

Lowest exam 10%

Other two exams 25% each

Papers: 2, 8-12pp.

Paper #1 10%

Paper #2 30%

Prerequisites:

Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better, Psychology 418 or an equivalent statistics course with a grade of C or better, upper division standing, and six semester hours of upper division psychology.
