Description:

This course will cover the fundamentals of social psychology, examining the ways in which social forces affect people's beliefs, behaviors, and feelings. Topics will include attitudes and persuasion, altruism and aggression, stereotyping and prejudice, conformity and obedience, social identity, social judgments, and interpersonal attraction.

Optional study guide available.

Grading and Requirements:

Exams: 4, 3 midterms and a final (lowest of three midterm grades dropped)
Short paper: 1
Extra credit may be possible.

Prerequisites:

Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better.
