Description:

This course will be an introduction to the neural bases of behavior. The class is intended to provide a foundation of knowledge about the structure and function of the nervous system and how it relates to behavior. Topics include the basics in anatomy and physiology of the nervous system, sensory and motor systems, sleep, hormones, learning, language, drugs, and a few brain disorders. Students will be required to read before class (quizzes possible) and obtain an email account.

Exams: 3, multiple choice w/a few short answer
Final: comprehensive
Quizzes: possible

Prerequisites:

Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better.
