Description:

Dr. Rebecca Bigler's lab is accepting new 357 students interested in children's social stereotyping and prejudice. During the spring semester, our lab will be working on studies that examine (a) the formation of intergroup bias among three- and four-year-olds, (b) children's perceptions of discrimination, (c) programs aimed at getting middle-school girls interested in math and science, and (d) racial attitudes among elementary-school-age children.

Qualifications: Students should be hard working, responsible, and interested in social stereotyping.

Duties:

Research assistants will attend lab meetings once a week, assist with study design, material preparation, data collection (e.g., testing children) and data entry.
