Selected Topics; Reading/Tutorial Hours to be arranged Psychology Faculty
Description: Supervised readings in selected topics of significance; area of intensive study chosen by student in consultation with instructor. Allow undergraduate students to pursue advanced reading in area in which they have well-developed interest, and provide supervision and guidance for reading. Texts: Textbooks vary according to instructor. Grading and Requirements: Paper on readings topic student pursues is required. Grade determined by both course involvement and paper. PSY 359 may be repeated for credit. It will not count toward the hours of psychology courses required for the psychology major, but may count as elective hours toward the 120 hours required for the Liberal Arts BA degree. Prerequisites: Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better, upper division standing, and written consent of the instructor. Consent form must be submitted in MEZ 206 before registering.
