Description:

The purpose of this class is to acquaint you with the methods of research used in psychology. The first part of the course will focus on the design of research projects. The second part of the course will focus on the statistical methods used to analyze the data from the research project. Labs focus on preparing and conducting research projects, computer skills required in statistical analysis, and writing research reports.

Prerequisites:

Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better, Mathematics 302 or higher-level mathematics course and a major in psychology.
