Introduction to Psychology

Description:

The purpose of this class is to introduce you to the scientific study of animal and human behavior. The major topics to be covered will include: the nervous system, sensory systems, sleep, consciousness, learning, memory, language, intelligence, motivation, developmental, personality, abnormal behavior, methods of therapy, sexuality, and social psychology. The format of the class will be primarily lecture.

Exams: 4, multiple choice; 40 questions
Final: multiple choice; 120 questions cumulative

Prerequisites:

Restricted to students enrolled in the Gateway Program.
