Description:

This study examines the link between a genetic risk factor for depression (the serotonin transporter gene; 5-HTTLPR) and cognitive risk factors for depression.

Qualifications:

RAs will need to be available this summer to train in face-to-face psychiatric interviewing in order to be ready to conduct interviews in the fall.  Previous research experience and/or interviewing experience is valued but not necessary.

Duties:

RAs will help recruit, schedule, and run participants.  They will conduct a structured face-to-face psychiatric interview with participants to assess for current and past psychiatric diagnoses and collect a cheek swab for genetic analysis.  They will also enter data for the study.
