Textbooks: Psychology (5th Edition), by David G. Myers

Course Requirements: Attendence is required for this class. Much of the material that will be covered in the lecture is not in the textbook. You are responsible for finding out about any announcements that have been made in class, such as changes in the exam dates. Grades will be based upon examinations. There will be three exams for this course, each of which will contribute one-third to your grade. The third exam will be given during the scheduled final exam period, but will last for only one hour and will cover only the last third of the course material. There are two options for the examinations. You may take a multiple choice exam or you may elect to take an essay exam. The multiple choice exams will consist of 50 questions; for the essay exam you will select one of three essay questions to answer. You may choose which type of exam to take independently for each of the three exams. You must sign up to take the essay exam one week before the exam date.
