William B. Swann, Professor (Social-Personality Area), Adjunct Clinical

William B. Swann, Jr., received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. He has been a fellow at Princeton University and at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences in Stanford and is the recipient of two research scientist development awards. He has also received multiple research grants from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Mental Health. He has authored numerous articles and a book on self-esteem, depression, and relationships. His current research focuses on the self, blirtatiousness, victimization, and gender in close relationships. Dr. Swann is a professor in the areas of Social-Personality and Clinical Psychology.
