Description:
The Markman Lab is looking for motivated students to assist in various aspects of the lab’s ongoing research projects. We study a variety of cognitive phenomena, including stereotypes, categorization, cognitive dysfunction, creativity, motivation, and reasoning and decision making. Participants in our experiments partake in a variety of tasks aimed at understanding these various cognitive phenomena
Qualifications:
Concurrent enrollment or previous completion of PSY 418. Concurrent enrollment or previous completion of PSY 305 (Introduction to Cognitive Psychology) desired though not necessary
Duties:
As a research assistant, you will be required to devote up to 10 hours of week to the lab. Duties will include running subjects, attending meetings, entering data, and meeting with graduate student mentors to discuss various aspects of the lab’s research
