Description:

We are finishing the last stage of a study which looked at homicidal ideation as well as actual homicide case files. At this point we are compiling all of these files into electronic format so they can be easily searched and archived.

Qualifications:

We will give priority to a student who is familiar with scanning documents, PDF-creation or other computer skills. However we will also consider other students who are somewhat computer-savvy and willing to learn the scanning process. We need someone who will be reliable and who will follow directions.

Duties:

The student’s main duty will be to scan and digitize hard copies into electronic versions. The student may sometimes be asked to help out by finding relevant journal articles, coding data, organizing data, piloting surveys or other research-related tasks.
