PSY 357 Social Phobia Treatment Study: Public Speaking Type

Description:

This study examines four different variations of exposure treatment for fear of public speaking. We are examining whether type of speech given and audience feedback related to social concerns enhances treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications:

At least a 3.0, taken statistics, motivated, reliable, organized,  flexible schedule, willing to make a 2-semester commitment and at least 10-15 hours per week

Duties:

Scheduling and tracking participants; conducting assessments using behavioral measures, diagnostic interviewing, questionnaires; participating as an audience member for speeches given by participants; conducting treatment sessions for social phobia. Some clerical work and data entry.
