PSY 357 Communication Perceptions: Impact of Facial Expression on Critical Feedback

Description:

We are conducting a study to address whether the quality and quantity of feedback given by bosses, teachers, and parents depends on the perceived emotional state of the person to whom they are giving the feedback.  We are looking for students who are interested in learning how to do behavioral coding and data analysis.

Qualifications:

We are looking for reliable students with a commitment to learning about research.  Also, students should be able to commit 8-10 hours per week and be interested in psychology.

Duties:

You will have the opportunity to learn to identify important behaviors that may impact research findings and learn SPSS (statistical software used in Psychology for data analysis).  These are GREAT skills to have if you are interested in graduate school!
