Description:
How do we form abstract concepts of the things that we experience every day? What does it even mean to have a conceptual representation of “dog”? We’ll explore the nature of this information and how it interacts to produce meaning.
Qualifications:
A strong interest in psychology, reliability, and initiative are all important. Lab hours are flexible and students are expected to work 6-10 hours per week (more in the summer; see Course Requirements below).
Duties:
Research assistants will generate research ideas, help with study design and preparation, interact with research participants and collect data, as well as assist in data coding and analysis.
