PSY 357 Posterior Cingulate Metabolism and Memory

Description:

We are conducting experiments to model the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease and possibly reverse the associated memory impairment with a drug that improves energy metabolism in the brain.

Qualifications:

Must be responsible, self-disciplined, punctual, and detail-oriented.  A student interested in research and behavioral neuroscience or behavioral pharmacology is preferred.  A two-semester involvement in the laboratory is preferred, but not required. 

Duties:

Assisting with behavioral data collection, animal handling, and tissue processing.
