PSY 357 What makes a “player” swagger? Hormones, dating initiation and rejection

Description:

In this study, we are investigating the role that individual differences in testosterone and cortisol play in predicting people’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors when they are rejected by potential dating partners.

Qualifications:

Responsible, motivated students with an interest in social/personality psychology, willing to work 8-10 hours/week during the spring 2005 semester.

Duties:

Help investigate the role the role that hormones play in dating-relevant situations.  Includes coding and analyzing videotaped interactions for various behaviors and helping to generate and discuss new ideas for research.
