Description:

Men and women deceive one another at every stage of mating from mate attraction, to mate selection, to mate retention, to mate expulsion. Research will focus on examining how mate deception changes over the course of mateships for evidence of evolved psychological design for mate deception.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
1. A GPA of 3.3 or higher
2. Prior or concurrent enrollment in PSY 418
3. Good performance in psychology coursework
4. An interest in research and/or graduate school in psychology

Duties:

1. Weekly reading and discussion
2. Data coding
3. Material and methods development and administration
4. Literature searches
5. Other duties as required
6. Approximately 8-10 hours/week of work
