Description:

This is a lecture course providing an overview of the research on the physiology and behavior related to reproduction in vertebrates (some information will be provided regarding invertebrates). There will be some lectures given by outside experts.

Grading and Requirements:

Exams: 2 (mulitple choice or essay depending on class size)
Mid-term 30%
Final 30%
Term paper, 15-25pp. 30%
Class Participation: 10%

Prerequisites:

Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better, BIO 302, BIO 303, Psychology 418 or an equivalent statistics course with a grade of C or better, ZOO 354, upper division standing, six semester hours of upper division psychology, and a GPA in Biological Sciences of at least 2.0.
