Description: Introduction to the theory and practice of conducting psychological research. Topics will include descriptive, experimental, and correlation research methodologies, and their relevant statistical analyses. Learn to use computer applications such as word processing programs, spreadsheets, and statistical packages. Texts: Goodwin, J.C. Lab Attendance: 13 possible pts. Group Project Contribution: 2 possible pts. Oral presentation of Final Project: 3 pts. Total 270 Bonus pts available (2/exam) Prerequisites: Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better, Mathematics 302 or higher-level mathematics course and a major in psychology.
