Description:

Introduction to experimental design and basic statistics in the behavioral sciences. Students will learn how to: (a) formulate testable hypotheses about the relationship among variables, (b) test these hypotheses using scientific methods, (c) perform statistical analyses of the data, (d) interpret the statistical results, and (e) write a report outlining the study.

Prerequisites:

Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better, Mathematics 302 or higher-level mathematics course and a major in psychology.
