Description:

Introduction to brain function, behavior. Biological approach to understanding psychological processes. Topics include: neural processing, neuroanatomy, biological basis of drug action, sensation and perception, language, learning and memory, dysfunctions of the brain, behavior.

Texts:

Carlson, N.R. Foundations of physiological psychology.

Grading and Requirements:

Exams: 3, in class.
Final: comprehensive.

Prerequisites:

Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better.
