Introduction to Child Psychology

Description:

In this course the changes that begin in infancy and continue through adulthood will be studied. Current theoretical perspectives and research methods will serve as starting points for both physiological and behavioral change. Also considered will be the special "tasks" of the developing human: language acquisition, concept formation, interpreting othersŐ behavior, etc.

Dworetzky. Introduction to child development. (6th ed.)

Grading and Requirements:

Exams: 4 objective; 40 multiple choice, true/false questions Grading based on three exams. Lowest score of first three exams can be dropped. Exam 4 is cumulative.

Prerequisites:

Psychology 301 with a grade of C or better.
