Description:
We are conducting a groundbreaking study investigating language associated with power versus status. We will examine whether there are specific linguistic markers associated with people who are high in power versus high in status. Students who join this project will learn how to interact and run participants as well as code audio and behavioral data. These are GREAT skills to have if you are interested in graduate school!
Qualifications:
We are looking for reliable and committed students who would like to act as a research assistant over Spring 2009 and/or Summer/Fall 2009 semesters.
Duties:
You will have the opportunity to run participants, code, rate and analyze audio and behavioral data from group interactions. Additionally, you will be meeting with the project coordinator weekly to discuss the project and related research findings. This is a great experience for students who are looking for an advanced degree!
