Description:
We are conducting a groundbreaking study investigating professors’ language across audiences. We will examine how consistently each professor uses language across undergraduate versus graduate classes. Students who join this project will learn how to code audio and behavioral data. These are GREAT skills to have if you are interested in graduate school!
Qualifications:
We are looking for reliable and committed students who would like to act as a research assistant over Spring 2008 and/or Summer 2008 semesters.
Duties:
You will have the opportunity to code, rate and analyze audio and behavioral data from actual classrooms. Additionally, you will be meeting with the project coordinator weekly to discuss the project and related research findings. This is a great experience for students who are looking for an advanced degree!
