Description:

Are you interested in learning about risk-taking behavior? Are you interested in learning about every step of the research process?  This study will investigate if life-threatening risks and risks taken to avoid danger are perceived the same way by the brain. In addition we will investigate if people who enjoy taking risks perceive these types of risks differently compared to people who do not like to take risks.

Qualifications:

We are looking for students who are reliable, good at brainstorming and are interested in learning about research.

Duties:

You will have the opportunity to be involved with every step of the research process, from helping to brainstorm risk-taking scenarios, to helping to create the scenarios using Poser software and then helping to run the study and interacting with subjects. This will be great experience for someone interested in going to graduate school in psychology or interested in getting some research experience.
