Description:
This project examines how previous exposure to social stress in adolescence (bullying) alters stress responses of young adults. Participants complete a stressful task and their physiological and hormonal responses to the stressor are measured. We are also interested in the effect of affiliation on recovery from the stress response.
Qualifications:
We are looking for reliable, punctual students who are interested in learning about research. Since all participants are run in the afternoons, research assistants must be able to work at least one afternoon per week (but two afternoons is preferred).
Duties:
Research assistants will mainly be responsible for running experimental sessions with 2-3 participants per session. Also, some administrative duties, such as participant recruitment and data entry will be required.
