PSY 357 The nature of attention in people with social anxiety

Description:

Research has found that people with social anxiety tend to focus on themselves in social situations thereby degrading the quality of their social interactions/performance. This study examines the nature of attention in people with social anxiety.

Qualifications:

Lab hours are relatively flexible. Some upper division classes and stats preferred but not necessary. Individuals working on this project must have good interpersonal skills, as interaction with study participants is required.

Duties:

The majority of your time will be spent running participants in the experiment. Some of the tests are computerized and some are administered by the experimenter. As well, data entry into a computer will be required.
