PSY 357 Emotion Regulation and College Success

Description:
Is it better to express or suppress emotions in the classroom? This project is designed to address the question of how an individuals emotion regulation patterns and techniques may influence their performance in school.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a student who is interested in emotion research and wants to be involved in all levels of the project. We are also looking for a student who is responsible, punctual, motivated and comfortable interacting with others. This project will involve 8-10 hours per week. Schedule is flexible.
Duties:
The student will gain valuable experience and knowledge by being involved with collecting and analyzing data from a lab experiment. You will learn how to run a study and how to use SPSS to analyze the data you collect.
