Description:

This project will investigate whether infants are more likely to form associations between attractive faces and positively valenced stimuli and less attractive faces with negatively valenced stimuli. I need an assistant who is interested in developmental psychology and social stereotypes. The project will involve testing 8-12 month old infants.

Qualifications:

Positive attitude and enthusiasm, efficiency, the ability to learn quickly and work independently, and excellent social/interpersonal skills. Prefer a psychology major with an interest in developmental psychology. Prefer a student who can make a two-semester commitment and who enjoys infants. Requires a set schedule of ten hours a week arranged around your schedule.

Duties:

Schedule and test infants; enter data; attend occasional meetings with the contact person/other assistants; write a research paper on the research you help conduct.
