PSY 357 Gender Differences in Academic Performance

Description:

I am interested in gender differences in academic test performance. In this lab, we are looking at how social factors (i.e. self-efficacy, expectations, competition, threatening situations) and biological factors (i.e. heart rate, testosterone, cortisol) influence cognitive performance.

Qualifications:

1. Be motivated, conscientious, reliable, and excited about research in psychology.
2, Be personable and able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
3. Be able to commit 6-9 hours a week to this project.

Duties:

1. Serve as experimenter to run participants through the experiment procedure.
2. Attend lab meetings.

You will also have the opportunity to learn salivary assay procedures if you are interested.
