Description:

We are looking to see if baseline levels of testosterone can explain the behavior of individuals when their status is threatened or boosted. In this study, we are having people play at a competitive task. Then we ask them if they would like to play again. We think that individuals with high levels of testosterone will want to play again if they lost in order to regain status. This experiment fits into an overarching model which looks at how testosterone and status interact to determine status-related behaviors.

Qualifications: Prefer a conscientious individual with a GPA of 3.50 or higher. You must be extremely organized and eager to participate.

Duties:

Run at least 4 experimental sessions twice a week. Each session takes about an hour and follows the method described in the description above.
