Depressive Symptoms and
Smoking Cessation:
The Roleof Personal Control

Description:

A 10 week study using group testing on the relationship of control, smoking, and depression.

Qualifications: Self-motivated, reliable and dedicated students who enjoy learning and want experience in research in psychology. Prefer students with an interest in psychology and health.

Duties:

1. Library searches on topics of smoking, depression etc.
2. Data collection, interaction with study participants and debriefings
3. Data entry for 3 waves of data collection.
4. Data analysis meetings to discuss results.

Other Information: If you are interested in health behavior research this is an excellent place to get started. Two-semester commitment not necessary. Please email your year in school, major, GPA and general interests to kenney@mail.utexas.edu
