Description:

Are you interested in the ways identity functions? My research focuses on the racial and gender differences in “self” processes. Majority of the projects this year examine the effects of identity on the ways in which students interact with the academic environment.

Qualifications:

One must have an interest in group processes and group identity. One must also be open minded and willing to learn about a variety of races. Most importantly, one must be dependable, honest, hardworking and passionate about research.

Duties:

Tasks include running experimental sessions, data entry, photocopying, transcription and literature searches. Research assistants are also required to attend a bi-weekly lab meeting.
