PSY 357 Military Working Puppies

Description:

The purpose of this research is to develop a behavior rating system for military working dogs.  This rating system will them be implemented by research assistants in order to determine what personality traits are necessary to breed dogs that will make the best attack and bomb detection dogs.

Qualifications:

Must be dependable and must be able to work 8-10 hrs a week.

Duties:

Develop rating scale for puppy behavior assessment, use scale to code puppy behavior, data entry, and video editing. Committed research assistants may also be able to attend trips to Lackland Air Force Base to observe, video tape, and code behavior for trained attack and bomb detection dogs.
