Description:
How does the feedback you receive influence your performance? Is it better to get feedback that is positive or feedback that is accurate? Do some people have different preferences than others? This study is aimed at understanding individual differences in reactions to feedback. We are interested in the effects of positive or accurate feedback on physiology, memory, and performance.
Qualifications:
Mature, Responsible students with a strong interest in Personality, Social, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology, willing to work 9 hours per week between 10:00 and 5:00 around your class schedule.
Duties:
Students will be completely responsible for running the study. They will gain valuable experience and knowledge by being involved with collecting and analyzing data from a lab experiment. If you would like to go on to graduate school in psychology or a related field, research experience is a must. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience and help generate and discuss new ideas for research.
