PSY 357 The Influence of Transformations on Cognitive Processing

Description:

When a caterpillar turns into a butterfly is it perceived as the same being or a new entity entirely?  Or when a table’s top is removed, leaving 4 legs, is it still a table or not?  This study investigates how people perceive and interpret transformations. 

Qualifications:

Lab hours are relatively flexible and students are expected to work 6-10 hours per week.

Duties:

Interact with participants and collect data.  More experienced students may help with data analysis.
