PSY 357 Testosterone and competition in females

Description:

We are looking for an Asian confederate for a study of competition in females.

This study examines the relationships between testosterone, competition, and social behavior in females.  We interested in finding out how high and low testosterone females react to winning and losing in competitive settings, such as competing on an “intelligence” test

Qualifications:

Due to the nature of the experiment design, you must be an Asian woman in order to qualify for this specific position.  We have other positions in our lab available to anyone. Please email the lab coordinator for additional information.

Duties:

You will be acting as a confederate and interacting with real female participants in the laboratory.  Depending on your interests and the needs of the lab, you may also be asked to: 1) enter data 2) watch and code videos for personality traits and social behaviors 3) analyze data and 4) do literature searches on relevant topics in the lab.
