PSY 357 Emotion and materialism, spending, and debt

Description:
Materialistic people value possessions highly, and define success, or failure, by the possessions that they have acquired. At this time, there is a lot of speculation about materialism, spending, and debt, but little psychological research. We are beginning a series of experiments that will examine materialism, spending, and debt from the perspective of emotion and emotion regulation.
Qualifications:
We are looking for Conscientious, Independent, and Motivated students who have an interest in Social/Personality Psychology and can devote at least 8-10 hours/week during the semester.
Duties:
You will learn how to interact with participants and will run experiments independently. Other duties might include formatting web-based questionnaires, performing literature searches, and/or coding videotapes.
