Description:
We have several ongoing studies for which we need undergraduate 357 support. The major projects in our lab include a longitudinal study of adolescent health (eating disorders, depression, substance abuse) in high school girls and boys examining which factors predict onset and maintenance of disordered behavior, as well as what factors serve to protect individuals from psychological disturbance. A second study examines group treatment for males and females with depression. The third major study examines two prevention interventions with high school and college populations designed to help females with body image concerns. We may have other opportunities to work on additional projects in the areas of eating disorder prevention and depression.
