Dr. Langlois received her Ph.D. from the Louisiana State University. Her research interests are social development and social information processing; infant development; the effects of individual characteristics (physical appearance, gender, age) on the differential socialization of males and females and on the development of social behavior; the origin of social stereotypes; the development of social competence.
