Dr. Horn received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota majoring in Psychology. Joseph Horn's primary research interests are in the study of intellectual and personality development, behavior genetics, personality, individual differences, and vocational behavior. He started the Texas Adoption Project in 1972 and this longitudinal study of over 500 adopted children, their biological mothers, and adoptive parents and sibs continues. Results so far point to the importance of genetic influences in both the intellectual and personality domains.
